Tommy Lane has made his name as an actor, the sort of name that reassures a producer more than it excites a marketing department. With 13 titles behind him, this is a working record rather than a highlight reel. 'Live and Let Die' is the most-seen line on the filmography, as Adam. Add 'Shaft' to the recognizable credits. Few working performers keep a run of 56 years going. More often than not, the job has been thriller.
