Stephanie Beatriz
Actress · Voice actress
45 years (Feb 10, 1981)Neuquén, Argentina
Known for
Born in Neuquén, Argentina, and raised in Texas, Stephanie Beatriz found fame as Rosa Diaz, the leather-jacketed, gloriously deadpan detective of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' (2013-2021), a character whose bisexuality she helped shape from her own experience. Her voice then carried a global phenomenon: she was Mirabel Madrigal, the un-gifted heart of Disney's 'Encanto' (2021). The same year she appeared in the musical 'In the Heights' (2021), and she voices Vaggie in 'Hazbin Hotel' (2024). Stone-faced comedy and warm musicality, oddly enough, are both her registers.
