A school bus is involved in an accident and Anesthetist Jacob works to save the children; Vilhelm begins an internship; Ella grapples with pregnancy nausea and budget challenges.

On the day of Ella's abortion, she's urgently needed at the ward; Jacob cannot shake the experience with the school bus accident, which leads to the endangerment of a mother as she gives birth; Jerry tries to build a relationship with Ella.

A new mother is on the brink of death due to severe blood loss and the responsibility for the situation remains unclear; Wilhelm, feeling neglected, initiates a confrontation with Louise, who unexpectedly opens up to him.
