Seema and Raghav Vashisht, a middle-class couple, find their world shattered as their son, Sunny, who has just returned from the shoot of his debut film confides in them a terrible secret about the producer of the movie. The distraught parents are contacted by the producer's legal team offering them money in return for their silence on the subject. The couple is faced with the impossible choice between doing the right thing and accepting money that could turn their life around.

The family takes a giant financial leap as their fortunes turn after accepting the money. Sunny starts to act increasingly erratic even as he tries to get used to this whole new world and put his trauma behind. All seems well financially, but is it?

Sunny’s erratic behavior shocks his parents, and their own guilt starts to rip the family apart from within. Unbeknownst to the parents, Sunny’s sister, Shreya, decides to take matters into her own hands to ensure that her brother’s abuser does not go unpunished.

Meanwhile, Sunny’s sister enlists the help of a journalist, unaware of the dire consequences of her actions.
