The life of Isabella of Castile, from her youth as a bargaining chip in the court of her half-brother Henry the Fourth to the end of her reign, through her contested claim to the throne, her marriage to Ferdinand of Aragon and the decisions that shaped the Spanish crown. Javier Olivares created the series for Spanish public broadcaster TVE, with Michelle Jenner as Isabella and Rodolfo Sancho as Ferdinand. Three seasons aired between 2012 and 2014, followed by the feature film 'La corona partida'.
