Two hundred years after nuclear war scorched the planet, humanity's fortunate few live sealed inside pristine underground Vaults while the surface festers as an irradiated wasteland. When a sheltered, idealistic Vault dweller named Lucy ventures topside to rescue her kidnapped father, she collides with the savage, blackly comic reality of a world ruled by mutants, raiders, and rival factions. Her path tangles with a battle-scarred bounty hunter known as the Ghoul and a young Brotherhood of Steel aspirant, all chasing an artifact that could reshape what remains of civilization. Adapted from the beloved video games, it marries retro-futuristic Americana, gruesome violence, and gallows humor into a wildly inventive postapocalyptic epic.
