The name here belongs off camera: Peter Sasdy is a Hungarian director with credits most viewers read past without noticing. The early work was done without much attention on it. The work is split between film and television rather than confined to either. Among all the credits, 'Taste the Blood of Dracula' reached the widest audience. 'Countess Dracula' sits alongside it on the filmography.
