Peg Shirley has been in the trade long enough to be called a veteran actress whose name has been turning up in credits for decades. Work has kept arriving for 67 years, which is its own kind of achievement. 'The Thomas Crown Affair' sits at the front of the filmography, where she plays Honey. 'Imitation of Life' rounds out the better-known part of the filmography. The first credits arrived long before the title most people know. Crime accounts for the largest share of the work.
