In the credits, Paul Mazursky appears as a director whose name sits in the credits rather than on the poster. Most of this work was done in rooms the audience never sees. Among all the credits, 'Down and Out in Beverly Hills' reached the widest audience. 'Moscow on the Hudson' is the other project most often mentioned. The first job came at 32. Whatever else appears, comedy runs through the filmography.
