A teenager wakes with no memory in an elevator that deposits him in the Glade, a meadow ringed by colossal walls and inhabited by a group of boys who organize themselves to survive. Beyond the walls stretches a gigantic, shifting maze infested with lethal creatures that no runner has managed to solve in years. Driven by a rebellious restlessness and by memories that surface in fragments, the newcomer Thomas pushes the group to seek the truth about their confinement and an impossible way out. Wes Ball adapts James Dashner's novel into an energetic, claustrophobic young-adult sci-fi thriller.
