Asger Holm is a police officer demoted to emergency-line operator while he awaits a trial that threatens his career. During a routine shift he receives a call from a woman who, in a trembling voice, claims to have been kidnapped and to be traveling in a moving van. Trapped at the switchboard with no tool but the telephone, Asger launches into a race against the clock to locate and save her -- though nothing is what it seems. A claustrophobic, masterful Danish thriller built almost entirely from the voice and face of a single man.
