新人接待员的秋乃，她开始工作的“北极百货店”，是一家来店的客人全部都是动物的不可思议的百货店。 出现于为了成为一名能够独当一面的接待员而在楼层经理和接待员前辈的守护下每天奋斗的秋乃面前的，是有着各种各样的烦恼的顾客。其中，“灭绝物种”兼“V.I.A”（Very Important Animal）的顾客全都是些难以应付的个性派。 想让常年陪伴在自己身边的妻子高兴的猫头鹰、寻找着送给父亲的礼物的貂、为向恋人求婚而烦恼的日本狼…… 为了自己、为了某人、为了贴近以各种各样的理由造访“北极百货店”的顾客的想法，秋乃今天也精神饱满地在店内四处奔走。
