John Travolta plays a rogue former intelligence operative who recruits a convicted hacker, played by Hugh Jackman, to break into a heavily secured Drug Enforcement Administration account and steal billions to fund an anti-terrorism crusade. Dominic Sena stages the heist thriller around a much-hyped, gravity-defying bus explosion sequence and Halle Berry's much-publicized topless scene, prioritizing spectacle over plot coherence. Critically dismissed on release, it's remembered today mainly as a glossy, overstuffed relic of early-2000s techno-thriller excess.
