Joe Gardner is a high school music teacher who dreams of making it as a jazz pianist, and on the very day he lands the audition of his life he suffers an accident that separates his soul from his body. Instead of passing on to the afterlife, he ends up in the You Seminar, the place where souls discover their personality and their spark before they are born. There he teams up with 22, a reluctant soul who has spent eons refusing to go down to Earth, in a desperate attempt to return to his life in time. An animated fable from Pixar, vibrant and profound, about the meaning of life and the pleasure of everyday moments.
