This psychological thriller pairs Anthony Hopkins as John Clancy, a retired physician with genuine psychic abilities, with an FBI agent (Abbie Cornish) and her skeptical partner (Colin Farrell) as they hunt a serial killer whose murders Clancy can partially foresee through visions. As Clancy's psychic connection to the killer deepens, the investigation becomes a race to intercept increasingly personal and inevitable-feeling crimes. Long delayed and reworked from an earlier draft originally intended as a Se7en sequel, the finished film leans into moody, atmospheric visuals over conventional procedural mechanics. It received a limited release and muted reception, remaining a largely overlooked entry in Hopkins's later filmography.
