A chronically insecure meter reader enrolls in an underground confidence course taught by a self-proclaimed master of masculine dominance, hoping to win the girl of his dreams. The class works wonders until the instructor decides he wants the same woman, igniting an escalating war of one-upmanship between teacher and student. This comedy remake of the 1960 British original pairs Billy Bob Thornton's menacing charm against Jon Heder's lovable awkwardness in a battle over who can out-alpha whom.
