Long before serving Gru, the Minions wander through history desperately searching for a master evil enough to idolize, never finding one who lasts. In 1968, three of them, Stuart, Kevin, and Bob, set off for the Villain Convention in Orlando and end up in the service of Scarlet Overkill, the world's first female supervillain, who, along with her inventor husband, plans to steal the crown of England. A hilarious and absurd prequel, drenched in slapstick humor and sixties pop aesthetics, about the most chaotic yellow creatures in animated cinema.
