Bruce Banner is a reserved genetic researcher dragging a traumatic past buried in his memory. A laboratory accident exposes him to a massive dose of gamma radiation that unleashes an uncontrollable transformation: whenever rage takes hold of him, he becomes a green colossus of monstrous strength. Hunted by the military and stalked by the ghosts of his childhood, he struggles to contain the monster within. An introspective, solemn comic-book adaptation, closer to psychological drama and tragedy than to superhero adventure.
