Amanda Seyfried plays Jill, a kidnapping survivor whose sister vanishes in circumstances eerily similar to her own abduction—except nobody believes her because she was previously dismissed as mentally unstable. Racing against time with no police support, Jill launches her own frantic investigation through Portland's underbelly, relying on the survival instincts forged during her captivity. The thriller maintains a taut pace as it keeps the audience guessing whether Jill's fears are justified or symptomatic of lingering trauma. A lean, effective suspense film built on the terror of not being believed.
