Michael Peña stars as a factory worker plagued by recurring apocalyptic nightmares who discovers, when Earth is suddenly invaded by a mysterious armored force, that his visions were premonitions — and that he alone may hold the knowledge needed to fight back. Director Ben Young builds the film around a mid-story revelation that recontextualizes the nature of the invaders and Peña's character's connection to them, shifting the story's genre register partway through. Lizzy Caplan co-stars as his wife, caught in the escalating siege alongside their young daughter. Released directly to Netflix, the film received a muted critical response but found an audience among genre fans drawn to its twist-driven sci-fi premise.
