'Eli' is a Netflix supernatural horror film about a boy with a severe autoimmune condition who is taken to a secluded clean-house clinic for experimental treatment, only to become convinced the sterile mansion is haunted. Directed by Ciaran Foy, it builds dread around the child's growing terror before pivoting to a wild third-act twist that reframes everything. The reveal proved polarizing, praised by some as audacious and dismissed by others as ridiculous. A middling but occasionally striking genre entry.
