Elektra

“Looks CAN kill.”
5 /10 (2,728) PG-13age 2005 1h 37m
Action Fantasy Adventure
Director Rob Bowman
Screenplay Zak Penn, Stuart Zicherman
2 nominations
Jennifer Garner reprises her Daredevil role as Elektra Natchios, a resurrected assassin-for-hire hired to protect a father and daughter from a cabal of supernatural killers known as The Hand, in this standalone spin-off. The film trades the grittier tone of its parent film for a more mystical, comic-inflected take on Elektra's mythology, leaning heavily on Garner's physicality in its fight choreography. Critically and commercially disappointing, it effectively shelved further live-action Elektra projects for over a decade.
