A gleefully violent, derivative post-apocalyptic action film written and directed by Neil Marshall. When a deadly virus resurfaces in a quarantined, walled-off Scotland decades after being sealed away, a hardened soldier (Rhona Mitra) leads a team inside to find a cure and discovers survivors split between medieval savages and a punk warlord's mob. A shameless mash-up of 'Mad Max', 'Escape from New York' and '28 Days Later', it is trashy, energetic B-movie fun that flopped theatrically.
