Wade Wilson is a foul-mouthed mercenary whose life falls apart when he is diagnosed with terminal cancer. In desperation, he undergoes a clandestine experiment that cures him and grants him a prodigious healing ability, but in exchange disfigures his body and tortures him to the limit. Turned into Deadpool, he sets out on a bloody revenge against the man who left him this way, without giving up his love or his most twisted humor. Ryan Reynolds plays Marvel's rowdiest antihero in a hyperviolent action comedy that relentlessly breaks the fourth wall and laughs at every cliche of the genre.
