Stanley Donen's supremely stylish romantic thriller, often called the best Hitchcock film Hitchcock never made, pairs Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn in sparkling form. Hepburn plays a widow pursued through Paris by menacing men after a fortune her murdered husband hid, unsure whether the charming Grant is protector or predator. Witty, suspenseful and gorgeously mounted with a Henry Mancini score, it blends elegance, danger and screwball banter effortlessly. A pure delight and an enduring classic.
