Marcel André has grown into a veteran French actor whose accumulated screen time beats that of most leading names. There is 'Hôtel du Nord' as well. Viewing habits have changed more than once since the first credit. Casting directors have gone to him for drama more than for anything else. Television and film have both stayed in regular use across the career. 'Beauty and the Beast' is the title most people reach for first, with Belle's Father at the center of it.
