An American actor and puppeteer from Albany, New York, James Ortiz works at the intersection of stagecraft and screen. Trained in the theater and celebrated for his inventive puppet design and physical performance, he brings an unusual, hands-on sensibility to his roles that sets him apart from conventional screen actors.
