義賊として知られる大泥棒ハーランは、恋人との新生活のため泥棒稼業から足を洗おうと決め、ラスベガスの警備会社で運転手の職に就く。だが初仕事のさなか、上司が突然カジノの警備員を射殺し、運ぶはずの売上金を奪って逃走する。ハーランは銃で脅され車を運転するはめになるが、気が付けば強盗と殺人の罪を押しつけられていた。獄中で罠にはめられたと知った彼はギャングのアイス・クールを相棒に、復讐のための脱獄を計画する。
