Quinze ans plus tard, ayant développé des talents dans la pratique des arts martiaux sous la tutelle de son oncle, Jake Falcon, Logan décide enfin d'accomplir sa terrible mission. En se faisant passer pour un tueur à gages, il parvient rapidement à infiltrer le milieu du crime de Chicago et à gagner, bientôt, la confiance de l'homme qui avait commandité l'assassinat de ses parents, le redoutable Albert Talgorno. Il organise dans sa tête un plan minutieux pour parvenir à ses fins.
