For decades now, Ernest Truex has been an American actor known to audiences from a long list of titles rather than from one. Work has kept arriving for 113 years, which is its own kind of achievement. 'His Girl Friday' is the longest-standing point of contact with the audience. 'Christmas in July' is another title that gets mentioned. Everything here starts from 1913.
