Edmund Goulding

Edmund Goulding is a British director rather than a performer who shapes what ends up on screen without appearing on it. He has worked in drama more than in any other register. 36 credits over 101 years describes the pace. 'Grand Hotel' did more for the name than anything else on the list. There is 'Nightmare Alley' as well.
