David James is a widely followed South African actor known to audiences who follow almost nothing else about the industry. The filmography numbers 18 titles, spread over a career of real scale. 'District 9' remains the anchor of the filmography, thanks to Koobus Venter. 'The Salvation' completes the pair of titles that define the public profile. Fame came later than the first credit by a wide margin.
