Carsten Bjørnlund: an actor, the sort of name that reassures a producer more than it excites a marketing department. The character of Karl in 'The Thing' is the anchor of his public profile. The list also includes 'The Killing'. The first screen credit dates from 2003. Film has carried much of the workload, with television in between.
