Bruce Phillips is, at this point, an established star with the sort of visibility that outlasts individual releases. None of this was obvious back in 1985. Recognition of this size usually rests on a handful of titles, and this career is no exception. Grimbold in 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' is the role that turned into a reference point. Another title worth naming is 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers'.
