Bert Lahr

Careers this long are unusual: Bert Lahr is an American actor who has rarely been away from the screen for long. Steady employment, rather than one breakout, gives the career its shape. In cinemas, 'The Wizard of Oz' is the work that stuck — "Zeke" / Cowardly Lion, specifically. Adventure accounts for the largest share of the work.
