Art Baker is one of the more persistent actors of his generation known to audiences from a long list of titles rather than from one. For much of the audience, Art Baker is Det. Lt. Cooley from 'Spellbound', whatever else the credits say. 'The Wild Angels' belongs on any short list of his work. Whatever else appears, drama runs right through the filmography. He has been working on screen for more than 89 years.
