Afra Saracoglu, born in Balikesir in 1997, trained in acting in Istanbul and made her television debut before turning twenty, quickly graduating to leading roles on Turkish prime time. She rose to national attention as Zeynep in the youth drama Ogretmen (2020) and reached international audiences through the romantic hit Yalı Capkını (2022-2024), whose Bosphorus-set family saga became one of the most exported Turkish series of its era. Comfortable in melodrama and lighter romance alike, she has won multiple Golden Butterfly nominations and become a fixture of the countrys glossy leading-lady tradition.
